About blossomsred

O Love that will not let me go,
I rest my weary soul in thee;
I give thee back the life I owe,
That in thine ocean depths its flow
May richer, fuller be.

O light that followest all my way,
I yield my flickering torch to thee;
My heart restores its borrowed ray,
That in thy sunshine’s blaze its day
May brighter, fairer be.

O Joy that seekest me through pain,
I cannot close my heart to thee;
I trace the rainbow through the rain,
And feel the promise is not vain,
That morn shall tearless be.

O Cross that liftest up my head,
I dare not ask to fly from thee;
I lay in dust life’s glory dead,
And from the ground there blossoms red
Life that shall endless be.

This is a blog about life. Not my life as such, although of course there will be plenty of ‘me’ in what I write. Actually, life is too narrow a topic for this blog. It will be about life, death and eternity (among other things). I would like to say that this blog will also be about the truth, however there are some things that I plan to write about which I am not entirely sure what the truth really is. However, ultimately and infinitely most importantly, this blog is going to be about The Truth….

Jesus said, “Don’t let your hearts be troubled. Trust in God, and trust in me. There are many rooms in my Father’s house; I would not tell you this if it were not true. I am going there to prepare a place for you. After I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me so that you may be where I am. You know the way to the place where I am going.” Thomas said to Jesus, “Lord, we don’t know where you are going. So how can we know the way?” Jesus answered, “I am The Way, and The Truth, and The Life. The only way to the Father is through me. If you really knew me, you would know my Father, too. But now you do know him, and you have seen him.” Philip said to him, “Lord, show us the Father. That is all we need.” Jesus answered, “I have been with you a long time now. Do you still not know me, Philip? Whoever has seen me has seen the Father.
